I am passionate about Usui Reiki as a modality for self healing, as well as for healing others. I first started on this journey primarily for  self-healing purposes in 2017, after having had had a few treatments with some amazing therapists. Oh boy, did I underestimate the power of it! My Level 1 sent me down a path of a holistic self healing journey and it offered me so much, that I soon went on to learn Level 2 and the rest is history. I have to say my process with Usui Reiki has been and continues to be one of deep self healing and a beautiful journey of allowing me to share this gift with others.

I trained in Usui Reiki Ryoho with two beautiful and experienced Master Teachers who were trained in the old Eastern style and I am part of the UK Reiki Federation. I believe this practice owes to be practiced with the respect it deserves and must be passed on to others as "purely" as possible; and by this I mean as close to the teachings used in the East, where it originated.

What is Reiki?

​

Reiki is a safe and gentle, non-intrusive hands-on technique for use on yourself or others, which uses spiritual energy to treat physical, mental, emotional or energetic ailments. It is thus, a holistic therapy for balancing and healing and harmonising all our bodies, as well as encouraging spiritual growth.

The Japanese word Reiki (pronounced Ray-kee) is translated as "universal life force energy"; although a more accurate translation is spiritual energy.

​

The word is divided in two parts: Rei-ki. The word "Rei" means "sacred", "soul" or "spirit", the "wisdom and knowledge of all universe" or "atmosphere of the Divine". It is the higher intelligence that guides the creation and functioning of all the Universe. The word "Ki" means "life force energy" which flows through all living things and everything around us. The word Ki exists also in Chinese and is called Qi (chi) and Prana in Hinduism.

In Japan, the word Reiki can be used to describe any form of healing that uses spiritual energy. However, the one known in the West and the one taught in the courses below, is Usui Reiki Ryoho, a specific form of healing developed by a Japanese Buddhist priest, Dr. Mikao Usui (1865 - 1926) which means the Usui Spiritual Energy Healing Method.

Benefits of learning and practicing Usui Reiki?

The benefits of learning to use and offer Reiki are numerous. However, the ones I would highlight from my experience are Self-healing, healing to others (humans, plants, animals) energy cleansing of the environment around us, protection and guidance, shift in awareness and spiritual enlightenment.

Because Reiki is divinely guided and it adjusts to suit each person, the experience and benefit will be unique to you.

The memorial of Dr. Mikao Usui sums up the potential of learning and practising Usui Reiki: "If Reiki can be spread throughout the world it will touch the human heart and the morals of society. It will be helpful for many people, not only healing disease, but the Earth as a whole"

Reiki is for anyone and everyone who feel the call to do it. Reiki is for ALL.

How are the Usui Reiki Ryoho teachings structured at Condor Divine Healing?

​

My teaching of Usui Reiki Ryoho follows three levels of attunements/courses:

​

Reiki Level 1 (Self-healing / family & friends)

​

Reiki Level 2 (Practitioner)

​

Reiki Level 3 (Master Practitioner/Teacher)

​

All the Reiki training courses will be in-person.

​

There will be a 21 day clearing and settling cycle after each level attunement.

​

To move from one level to another, you will be required to leave at least 6 months between each course.

What are the Reiki Precepts?

Translated as per the manuscript written by Dr. Mikao Usui, it would read as follows:

The secret art of inviting happiness

The miraculous medicine of all diseases

Do not worry and be filled with gratitude
